Boss-gege Excessive Spoiling - Chapter 191

Arc 3: Part 49

For a moment, Tong Su truly felt that the baseless slander thrown at her seemed undeniably true, beyond dispute.

Tian Xuanzi was vehement in his accusation, his face filled with condemnation:
"In broad daylight, under the clear skies, someone dared to commit such an outrage. It's a sad testament to the moral decline of our times, a sign that the integrity of people is not what it used to be."

Tong Su: "...I didn't do anything. I was just trying to apply medicine to you. What nonsense are you saying?"

He raised an eyebrow: "Oh? A'Tong, so quick to deny! It shows just how crafty you are inside. How long have you been coveting your senior brother, hmm?"

Tong Su: "...That's not true. You're covered in injuries, senior brother, I haven't even asked you how that happened?"

He immediately retorted, "So it turns out that A'Tong was waiting for a time when her senior brother was too hurt to resist, choosing this moment to strike. That's downright malicious!"

"...Stop talking nonsense! Can we not talk for a moment? I'm serious, take off your clothes, I need to apply your medicine!"

"Look at that, when her objection fails, she finally shows her true colors, flying into a rage out of embarrassed anger, right? So, A'Tong really intends to force her advances on me?!"

He covered his collar with one hand as if he was truly facing a scene where a scoundrel was attempting to take liberties with him.

He really did play the part quite convincingly.

That is, if it wasn't for the poorly concealed laughter in his eyes!

Tong Su, half annoyed, smiled despite herself. She slammed the leiteng fruit on the table, tilting her chin, and sneered with a stern expression.

"It seems that your injuries aren't serious at all, senior brother! Maybe, you should say something more to prove that you're alright. So, I can be at ease. I'll go straight to the Alchemy Tower and immerse myself in studying for three months before we discuss this matter again."

Her words fell crisply, clearly pronounced, and had a certain finality that shut Tian Xuanzi right up. He mumbled, "A'Tong, you are so cruel. Your senior brother is heavily injured, and yet you're ready to leave without even turning your head."

His mumbles were at a lowered volume but is perfectly audible to her — a "lowered volume" designed for her to hear.

All along, he was undressing. His lightning-quick movements betrayed no sign of serious injury.

Tian Xuanzi had a commendable figure, slim when dressed, but muscular when undressed. His dark collar loosened and fell open, revealing his firm pectoral and well-defined abdominal muscles.

He leaned against the head of the bed, unhurried, but as he removed his shirt, the lines of his muscles became even more noticeable and pronounced. It was enough to make anyone blush, and Tong Su turned away, her face hot. Yet she couldn't help but picture his skin, as resplendent and smooth as polished jade, the image immovably etched in her mind.

"A'Tong, weren't you going to help me apply medicine? Why are you looking away now?" he asked.

He laughed deliberately, and Tong Su gritted her teeth, turning her head back. She saw his strong and sturdy body, now wrapped with bandages that were faintly stained with alarming shades of blood.

Tong Su's heart trembled.

In her consciousness, she called out to the system, "666, I want to buy another healing card."

System 666 came online hastily, its voice filled with anxiety, stuttering, "Can't afford it, Miss. In the mission world, the price of items in the store doubles. It used to be 50,000 points, but now it'll cost 250,000 points. You don't have enough points..."

"Are you trying to fleece me? This is faster than the rising prices of houses! You're just making money by exploiting the situation, aren't you? Filling your pockets?!"

System 666 looked down at its fingers shamefully, "Well, it's not that bad. It's just enough to pay the wages of our public service workers. Besides, they're discussing giving the system commissions for purchases. Some of the senior systems are organizing an event to teach us newbie systems how to enroll in a sales tour guide training — learning how to upsell and all..."

No matter how touching or tempting the scene was, it got completely ruined by this annoying system!
