Boss-gege Excessive Spoiling - Chapter 124

Arc 2: Part 45

Cradling the soft and fragrant jade against his chest, he felt like Ruan Zhao ascending to Tiantai. As spring arrived, the world was graced with the vibrant colors of blossoming flowers. The willow, with a slender waist, danced in the breeze. From the ruby-red lips, a fragrance wafted, adorning the cheek.

A hint of metallic taste spread from his lips where her teeth bit harshly, showing no mercy. The piercing pain spread, yet he was too stunned to react.

Her lips were extremely soft, shiny and plump as cherry blossoms. They seemed to carry a whiff of floral sweetness that wandered into his nose.

Her inexperienced and wild tongue trailed along his lips. Unable to pry open his mouth, she could only explore what was available to her. It was as if she was trying to engrave her scent onto his lips.

Like an electric current running from his spine all the way to the top of his head, a tingling sensation spread from his lips. He stood there rigid as a statue, unsure of where to place his hands and feet, his heart stopped beating momentarily.

The young girl glared at him angrily with her round almond eyes. Although she was panting unevenly, a faint blush crept up onto her cheeks. It was like a rosy reflection emanating from the snow layers under the warm winter sun. Her eyes sparkled, clear and spirited, like black pearls in mercury, reflecting his figure.

"Bai Zhu..." he murmured softly.

"Don't talk!" she suddenly pushed him away, her angry expression not fading. She retreated back onto her horse, a bit of blood colouring her lips. Unperturbed, she extended her tongue to lick it off, leaving a trace of glossy sheen.

Xiao Lingchen's mind exploded!

He instinctively wanted urge to reach out, but she suddenly urged her horse backward, exclaiming fiercely, "Don't touch me, I don't want to have anything to do with you!”

She turned and hurriedly rode away towards the camp, seeming as fiery and angry as if she had been the one taken advantage of.

"Bai Zhu? Bai Zhu! Bai Zhu, stop!"

Xiao Lingchen rushed his horse to chase her down, but was met with a short bow flying straight at him; the same one he had given her just moments ago.

Looking back up, he was met with the young girl's enraged shouts.

"Don't come over, I don’t want to see you. Get lost!”

For once, Xiao Lingchen was at a loss. He pulled on his horse's reins to stop, and watched as she dashed away towards the camp.

When she looked back and saw him still there, she became even more irritated. She screamed furiously, "Idiot! Fool!"

She lashed her horse fiercely with her whip. Startled and in pain, the chestnut horse neighed and charged away.

“Sir…”

Little Thirteen was dumbfounded by the scene. Feeling even more panicked than Xiao Lingchen, he stiffly made his way towards him.

Xiao Lingchen looked dazed, his face pale, and a fresh bead of blood oozed from his lips. His hand gripped the reins so tightly it left deep indents.

"My Lord... are you hurt? Your lips... your lips are bleeding."

"Eh? Oh." A good while passed before he responded in a daze, "Injured? Is she injured?!"

Only at this point, Xiao Lingchen felt the sharp sting on his lips. He touched the fresh blood with his fingers – his heart suddenly eased.

It was his blood, not hers.

She was not injured.

"That's good..."

Little Thirteen stood silent, not daring to utter a word.

But his heart sighed with helplessness.

The Lord... he has fallen!

The colder and more heartless a person, the more burning and obsessive their love when they fall.

Yet, the master had still not realized it. Even if someone pointed it out, he would not believe it. He would just overthink, creating various scenarios until his mind reached the horizon!

But if he were left alone...

No one knew what kind of actions his obsession would drive him to take!

And once he acted, he would find all kinds of reasons to justify it, never admitting his feelings outright.

It's such a misfortune!

Despite calling it misfortune, Little Thirteen couldn't help but feel a little schadenfreude, inappropriately and unscrupulously surfacing in his heart—

It was rare to see a serious and cautious master like Xiao Lingchen facing such a predicament. Could this not be a once-in-a-century opportunity?

If he didn't seize this moment to enjoy the show, when would the opportunity ever arise again?

Hmph, with Bai Zhu being so outstanding, he couldn't wait to see how long the master could keep it in!
