Upon hearing this, Lan Shuer's face fell immediately. She glared hatefully at Ji Yu, screaming in anger. "What did you say about me? You, you, how dare you insult me like this!"
If it hadn't been for the quick reaction of the assistants, who rushed up to restrain her, she would have likely lunged at Ji Yu in fury.
On the other end of the phone, the operator of the bot company was also displeased.
He scoffed, "In the end, didn't this whole issue start because you decided to hire a bot force, Big Star Ji? If you ask me, once this escalates online, whoever loses their cooler will suffer the most. We're just a bot company, we don't care about our reputation and criticism. You're better off figuring out a solution quickly."
Upon hearing this, Ji Yu's face turned grim. He seemed to have thought of something. Instead of continuing his rant, he paused and said, "Alright, need to think of a solution, is it? Well, go and continue brushing the comments and send out some news releases."
"Send what?"
Ji Yu coldly chuckled.
"Now that everyone knows the votes were tampered with, we might as well play the blame game. Frame Xi Tong Su as the culprit. Say that she's scheming and purposely rigged the votes to make herself lose, all so that she can manipulate netizens to slander me!"
"Alright, Big Star Ji, you're much more ruthless. I admit defeat," said the bot operator.
The bot operator, either sarcastically or respectfully, let out a sigh. Ji Yu, with a gloomy face, ignored him.
Soon, the posts on the internet defending Tong Su were drowned by numerous bot-generated comments. An influx of scathing comments flooded the Weibo account that Tong Su had only recently opened.
"Is it true that you purposely manipulated the votes? Is this real?"
"What's going on? We were blaming Lan Shuer and Ji Yu just before. It was you who engineered all this? Xi Tong Su, you are the real schemer!"
"Damn, that's disgusting!"
"Get out of the entertainment industry!"
"Apologize to Ji Yu and Lan Shuer!"
"The official Ji Yu fanclub announces that Xi Tong Su, you are not fit to be Ji Yu’s fiancée. Break up immediately!"
"Break up immediately!"
When the fans of Xi Tong Su saw the flood of vilifying comments, they were taken aback and bitterly responded: "Stop insulting! On what basis do you claim that Tong Su rigged the votes? Where is the evidence?"
"Like idol, like fans, are all of you this disgusting?"
"Poor Miss Tong Su, quickly close the comment section with so many haters attacking you."
However, no matter how hard they tried to fight back, they couldn't outdo the flood of comments from the bots. Soon, the topic #SchemingXiTongSu# appeared on the hot search list.
This led to even more people chiming in with insults in Tong Su's comment section.

However, just as Ji Yu and Lan Shuer’s fans were rejoicing, they suddenly noticed that Xi Tong Su had retweeted and replied to a Weibo comment.
Innocent Tong Su: "Alright then. #ThisRemarkableOperation# @FishFan: Break up immediately!"

Did Xi Tong Su just announce her breakup with Ji Yu amidst the online backlash against her?!

Not only the fans, but even Ji Yu and Lan Shuer on the other end of the computer were stunned as well.

Ji Yu frowned in confusion. He clicked on the comments, only to find that Xi Tong Su had turned them off. In the forwarding section, there was an intense amount of mocking and taunting. As he scrolled down, he suddenly saw a retweet.
"Oh my god! You guys need to check out the topic! Damn, if what Mao Zai is saying is real, then screw Ji Yu, he's the truly disgusting one!"
